PDF NIV, Chronological Study Bible: Holy Bible, New International Version with FREE PDF EDITION!

This New International Version is the 2011 edition, published by Biblica, and was updated to exclude many verses I had become accustomed to in the 1984 Zondervan edition. Rather than include disputed verses in footnotes, as was done in 1984, these same verses are entirely missing, except in the case of Mark 16:9-20, where they are italicized and included with the regular verses. In addition, Isaiah was placed in two separate time periods within the chronological text, buying into he "Two Isaiahs" theory of the more liberal Christian set. The articles are very balanced and scholarly, but leave the impression that God was more a construct among the ancient Israelites than a real Being. I did read all the way through this Bible, including the articles, but I won't be reading it again. I went back to the old Zondervan NIV Chronological Bible. I hope it endures, because it is no longer available for purchase. A thoroughly unsatisfactory experience.
